4.25" tall figure stands atop 5x5x.5" tall wooden base that has surface designed to look like bricked pavement. Created by The Will Vinton Studio for a c. late 1980s television commercial advertising General Foods' "Tang" orange flavored drink mix. Figure will be familiar w/those who spent any amount of time watching television in the late 1980s as these anthropomorphic, giant mouth characters were quite prevalent. Amazing detail to sneakers which are constructed out of a hardened clay-like material, also used for character's teeth. Red lips have faded somewhat w/age and hands show wear due to multiple changes to the wire frames as they were designed to be moved/molded frequently to achieve the appearance of movement/transformation. Fine overall.
