Item Description
c. 1950. Made by Knowles China. Bowls and dishes have repeat pattern of various brands including the "Flying A." All pieces have G.A. copyrights. 9.25" dia. plate with Gene on horseback has facsimile signature with inscription "Always Your Pal/Gene Autry." The 6" plate, 5.25" bowl, and 7" across handled bowl. All have the manufacturer's hallmark on the bottom. The 3" tall handled mug has an image of a spur, rope, and gun with "GA"on the grip. One hairline on larger bowl. Lt. crazing to all as is expected of this type of china, o/w set is Exc.
