3.75x6x7/8" deep box contains 1.25" dia. chromed metal case, complete with original green band. Larger of 2 cases produced. Dial features full figure image of Captain Marvel holding fighter jet and "Captain Marvel" name. ©1948 Fawcett Publications Pub. Inc. Comes with original "Marvel Importing Corporation" guarantee paper which is aged and Fine. Original foil tag around upper straps reads "Captain Marvel 5.95." Insert shows some wear around slots for watch and light fade to red areas. Fine/VF. Box has some lt. handling wear with dust soiling and corner tip rubs. Fine+. Case retains bright luster. Dial remains totally bright and clean. Luminous material on numerals has aged but hands still glow faintly. Crystal has slightly yellowed. Works. Exc.
