Item Description
Lot of two items. First is 5.5x8.5" glossy booklet w/tinted photo of Marciano on front and text below "Undefeated Heavyweight Champion Of The World." Eight pages. Many bw photos including him w/Pres. Eisenhower, w/family at home, poolside, w/Boy Scouts, training, in the ring. Back cover has "Record Of Achievement." Last two fights listed were against Ezzard Charles. Those fights took place in 1954. He fought Don Cockell in May 1955, dating booklet to late 1954-early 1955. Exc. Also included is 7x9" glossy bw press release photo of Marciano in shower wearing shower cap. News photo text attached to back includes "Cooling Off A Hot Rock/Crowned With A Bathing Cap, World Champion Rocky Marciano Takes A Cooling Shower After Workout In Preparation For His Scheduled Battle With Roland La Starza/September 24, 1953." Marciano won w/knock-out in the 11th round retaining his title which he held until his retirement in 1956. Photo is curled. Booklet is Exc.
