Item Description
10.5" square box contains tiddly winks-type game by Transogram, 1938. Colorful box lid w/graphic design shows early plane approaching airfield w/insert picture of happy family playing the game. Bottom of box serves as playing surface paper. Concept was to take wooden shooters and flip likewise colored disks onto the board. Interior of board has fluted tin dish which would be the highest score possible. Board contains numerous aviation-related images including airport headquarters, hangar, parachutist, plane crashing, etc. Lid has adhesive tape repair on one side, bit of missing surface paper along same side and on corners. Bottom of box on one side has additional adhesive tape repair but playing surface is basically clean w/exception of a few pencil marks in one corner. Overall Fine. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
