12x16" mat has 6.25x8.5" opening with glossy sepia-toned photo of Academy Award-winning silent film actress Mary Pickford. Second 2-3/8x3.5" opening contains album page which has been signed in black ink "Sincerely - Grace - Mary Pickford." "America's Sweetheart" was a co-founder of United Artists studio and one of the original members of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. She was one of the first big female stars of Hollywood and helped shape it into the industry that it is today. Album page has .5x1" area of surface paper residue from scrapbook mounting but this does not affect signature in any way, remaining bold and legible. Signature area remains Exc. and display is ready for framing. Comes with Hake's COA.
