Item Description
Lot of eleven 5x8.5" magazines for the Baltimore, MD area published between Jan., 1964 - Jan., 1972. Issues featured mostly ads with some articles on performers. Content was heavy on restaurant/bars, burlesque performances and local entertainment events. Musicians and burlesque performers are featured heavily on covers. Of note, early appearance of James Brown on front cover of Jan. 30 - Feb. 5, 1964 issue. Also featured are country musician George Jones, Fanne Foxe, Sinful Terry Cyn, and Bonita Guitar. Issues have general handling wear with color rubs and pinch creases at spine. VF overall.
