Apparently hand-made presidential button set c. 1990. Each of these 40 buttons is 2-3/16". Each has a text panel that appears on close viewing to be cut out by hand and the panel is sealed under the button's transparent acetate covering. Each panel gives the president's name, his order (1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc.) and years in office. "Grover Cleveland" is represented by only one button reading "Twenty Second; Twenty Fourth/1885-1889; 1893-1897." Bush (41st) is dated "1989-." Buttons have covered metal backs with a horizontal bar pin. There is no text on the curls or backs. N. Mint and displaying Mint.
