See previous item #1561. Strips measure 6.25x9.25" and 7-5/8x9-5/8". Strip titles include "Uncle Wiggily's Crutch" and features an arthritic Uncle Wiggily holding his back as Squigglebug points. Caption reads "Do You Mean Your Crutch? Asked A Squigglebug." "Uncle Wiggily At The Piano" shows female rabbit playing piano with caption reading "Her Paws Banged The Keys." Strips have penciled titles and dates that they ran (Jul. 24-25, 1925) at top. Both panels are dated and signed by Campbell. Second sheet has "Uncle Wiggily And Billie's Bounce" and features scene showing Uncle Wiggily watching bouncing squirrel with caption "The Squirrel Boy Was Bouncing Up And Down." "Uncle Wiggily And The Little Flower" features mouse admiring flower with text "I Have A Wonderful Garden!" Penciled titles and dates at top, cartoons ran Sep. 28-29, 1925 and each are dated and bear Campbell's signature. Pin holes at margins with scattered light aging/dust soiling. VF. Art area remains for the most part unaffected, bright and clean. Exc.
