Item Description
1.75x7.75x1.75" deep box with images of Mickey and Minnie Mouse contains child's leather belt by Hickok Mfg. Co. Inc. 1930s. Reverse is marked "Mickey Mouse Genuine Cowhide" with size "24." Entire front surface of belt has lightly ridged design with slight relief images of Mickey accented in silver. Fourteen totally different images including some great poses such as Mickey boxing, giving raspberry, falling down, running away plus those of him with objects such as rifle, ax, shovel and paint brush. Belt shows slight wear from use. Scattered small traces of silver color loss but all images have most of silver remaining. Has attached silvered brass buckle with incised image of Mickey with black and red enamel paint accents. This has a few tiny paint flakes but full luster remains. Still, an exceptional example of this high quality belt. VF. Box shows wear with some edge splits to surface paper and scattered light age spotting. Fine. Box is Rare. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
