Item Description
Large 20x20x2" deep box contains game by Tudor c. early 1960s. Box features Disney characters in pirate ships with skull rock in the bkg. Moderate dust soiling and scattered edge wear. Box is Fine. The large electric gameboard has tin frame with inset attached vacuform plastic overlay with "path" over the illustrated game surface. This is nicely illustrated and includes images of Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, Ludwig, Uncle Scrooge, Donald's nephews along with designated areas/objects such as "Skull Rock/Pirate's Cove/Long John Silver's Treasure/Captain Kidd's Treasure," etc. Comes with 4 different 1.5" long tin/plastic "ships" that serve as the playing pieces and depict Mickey, Donald, Pluto and Captain Hook. Also comes with large assortment of plastic doubloons which are collected during game play. Works and gameboard vibrates causing the ships to travel along the path. Plastic sheet has trace of aging but game remains Exc. Neat design and scarce.
