Item Description
1.25" reads "Vietnam Protest/Washington Easter 65 SPU." Those initials stand for Student Peace Union and other organizers of the event were Students For A Democratic Society (SDS)and the Student Non-Violent Coordinating Committee (SNCC). About 2,000 protestors were expected but turn-out estimates ranged from 15,000 to 25,000. The fifth we've offered. Small bit of tan age along the reverse collet but front is totally clean and displays Mint. Historic.
