Item Description
1-7/8" dia. case. Hands of watch are represented by Trylon and Perisphere. Hands appear aged (possible luster loss from original finish). Numerals on dial utilize Trylon & Perisphere styling. Numbers maintain gold luster. Dial was at one point beige, but is mostly aged to metallic tan. Watch is running. Back of case has "New York World's Fair/1939" copyright logo embossed in it. Scattered wear to pewter luster finish. Rare watch. Running. Overall watch is Fine. Comes with original 2.5x3" box. Lid image is the same as the back of the watch case. Text below reads "The New Haven Clock Company Watch Division/N.Y.W.F. Lic. 1140." Light wear to box, but remains sturdy with no broken corners. Box insert has two tears at top where watch has been removed, o/w box is Fine. Also included is original .75x1" string price tag. Image of T&P with date appears on one side. Back reads "Officially Approved $1.50 New York World's Fair 1939 Inc." Tag VF. Outstanding with box, tag, all papers.
