Item Description
8" tall tin litho with built-in key. Among the earliest Disney wind-ups c. 1930. Toy works and shakes about as it walks forward. The separate die-cut tin arms and ears are professional replacements by Joe Freeman of Tin Toy Works. The rubber tail is also a replacement. Moderate scattered paint wear with nicks and scratches. Some small traces of surface oxidation including where right arm is attached as well as some small spots on right side of face. Pair of .25" hairline cracks in the metal between Mickey's eyes where the 2 halves of the figure join together. Has small area of red paint touch-up on back of pants but professionally done and blends perfectly. No other touch-ups. Toy remains glossy. VG. One of only 4 known and this is the second best condition of those 4.
