First is 1-1/8" dia. watch on slightly worn black leather band. Fine. From series of Ward characters made by Bruen, a division of Hamilton Watch. Bullwinkle wears Indian headband. Tiny text at dial bottom reads "Copyright 1969 Jay Ward Productions." Works. Watch Exc. Comes with 5.25x8.5" 1973 "Jay Ward Presents The Dudley Doright Emporium Catalogue." 32 pages. One page devoted to 13 Jay Ward character watches including Bullwinkle, Dudley Doright, George of the Jungle, Super Chicken, Snidely Whiplash, Boris Badenov, Natasha, Hippity Hooper, Nell and Horse, Ape, Shep, Rocky, Snidely and Nell. Another page is devoted to eight "Star Watches" including JFK, Wilt Chamberlain, W.C. Fields, Buster Keaton, etc. Catalogue also offers Ward character t-shirts, sweatshirts, intimate apparel, bedding, towels, aprons, shoulder bags, placemats, bike bags, sexy posters featuring the famous "Eat Your Heart Out Burt Reynolds!" reclining Bullwinkle. Catalogue also features numerous other non-character products. Catalogue is designed for mailing and comes with attached mailing address. Interesting to note small text on cover "The Figure Standing By The Sign Is Jay Ward Posing As A Reasonable Facsimile." Light handling wear. A fun, early 1970s item. Fine.
