Item Description
Obtained from the Jack Lord estate. Anson leisure suit that Jack Lord's character Steve McGarrett wore c. 1974-on. Suit was featured on the CBS Hawaiian police drama (that began in 1968 and ran until 1980). Suit is Exc. Also included in lot is full-size "Hawaii Five-O"/"Singapore-The Year Of The Horse" promo t-shirt. Shirt shows scattered light aging but is Exc. and comes with 3 photo strips depicting co-star James McArthur with 2 strips showing young woman wearing shirt of this style. Third filmstrip shows Lord wearing a leisure suit of the type we are offering as well as an included 8x10" photo in same suit. Lot also comes with lot of 4 "Hawaii Five-O" promo items including 2 stickers, ruler and boxed police whistle. Exc. overall. Also included are 2 postcards featuring Lord in Hawaiin garb and larger 8x10" print, all of which bear his facsimile signature. Exc./N. Mint. Lot also includes 2 Hawaiian storybooks by Richard and Ruth Matsuura, each being signed by them and comes with letter from them to Lord with related text. VF. 8.5x11" Hawaiian-themed art in marker done by Lord comes signed "Aloha Jack Lord" in pencil. Light handling wear. VF/Exc. Glossy 8x10" bw photo of Lord in show comes signed in black marker "Kitty Shaw Aloah Ke 'Akua - Jack Lord." N. Mint. Two checks from Jack and Marie Lord's account are also included, each signed by Jack Lord, each with banking stamp. One is dated May 3, 1985, the other May 31, 1988. Lot comes with certificate from bank that handled the Lord estate. Comes with Hake's COA.
