Item Description
Professionally framed 25x31" display with large tear to backing paper contains a pair of tights owned and worn by Elvis Presley. Display has been ornately double-matted to show print of a young Elvis on bicycle signing autograph, using young boy's head to write on. Other portion of display contains "Taking Care Of Business" letterhead dated Oct. 14, 2004 from and signed by Sonny West, Presley's former body guard stating authenticity. Letter reads in part "This Letter Is To Confirm The Authenticity Of A Pair Of Tights Owned And Worn By Elvis Presley Under His Jumpsuits While Performing On Stage. They Ended Up In My Personal Belongings Through A Mix-Up With Our Laundry. I Put Off Returning Them For A While And Then Forgot About Them. I Found Them While Going Through Some Of My Personal Belongings Packed Away In One Of My Storage Units Not Long Ago... Elvis Wore Tights Under His Jumpsuits Because He Had Split His Pants Several Times While Performing. He Wore This Pair Sometime In The Mid-Seventies." Large size. N. Mint. Great display and truly a bizarre collector's item for any Elvis fan.
