9-1/8x18.25" illustration board with original pen and ink drawings used by Aladdin Industries Inc. to illustrate their "Universal's Movie Monsters" thermos. ©1979 Universal Studios Inc. The art features: "The Wolf Man, Creature From The Black Lagoon, Frankenstein's Monster, The Mummy, Phantom Of The Opera and Count Dracula." Each monster has paste-on name beside them, Wolf Man has image and name at opposite ends of board. Wolf Man is as portrayed by Lon Chaney Jr., Frankenstein is as portrayed by Glenn Strange, The Phantom is as portrayed by Lon Chaney Sr. and Dracula is generic image. Separate 2.25x4-3/8" acetate name label and 1.25x5-5/8" acetate strip with Aladdin information. Light scattered aging by Wolf Man, Creature and two small areas .25x.5" by Mummy and Phantom. Scattered aging to rest of card. Monster images remain very bold and Exc. Overall VF. Unique.
