Item Description
12.5X24X3.50” deep box contains rare set by Palitoy of the U.K. ©1977. Totally different from the Death Star Playset produced by Kenner for the U.S. Box has obvious wear mostly to side panel/edges including scattered creases and extensive color rubs. Front & back panels remain bright and clean for display. VG. Set consists of thick die-cut cardboard pieces for assembly of the Death Star all nicely detailed and illustrated. There are also plastic parts for the laser gun unit that fits on the top, escape shoot plus 10 plastic clips for assembly. Set was assembled for a Tomart photo shoot (those images are included here) but shows only light wear and overall remains Exc. This is the actual example as shown in Tomart's Action Figure Digest #149 and comes w/a copy of that issue. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
