Item Description
4.5x10.75x3.25" deep shoe box once contained pair of sneakers described on one side panel as "Youths' Dart-Neutral 11-1/2." Box features exceptional graphics which are totally different on the lid and all side panels. Lid depicts Mickey and Minnie playing tennis, sides of box bottom have 10 different images of Mickey, mostly sports themes which include him playing marbles, baseball, horseshoes, etc. as well as a scene on right side panel of him w/bow and arrow shooting an apple positioned on Pluto's rear end. Opposite side panel depicts him holding a high-top sneaker. Lid and rear side panel have lt. gray dust soil. End panels and front panel are extremely clean although a lt. horizontal crease goes across the front panel. On an interior glued flap is a 1934 date related to this type of box design. Fine and only the second box we've seen. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
