9x12" original mailing envelope contains seven different stiff paper sheets promoting 1938 store displays. Old King Cole Inc. was the premiere maker of Disney store displays. Envelope has scattered margin wear, a 2" edge tear but VG. There are three main advertising sheets, each is 11x16.5" and for a different display theme and these are "Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs, Ferdinand The Bull, Brave Little Tailor." Each features detailed text and images of the different diecut character display figures and related material. Sheets note that the average height of each figure is 24". Other items shown are facades and decor strips. Some of the figures are noted as being jointed for posing. These include Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs, Ferdinand, the bee, picador, senorita, Sir Mickey, Lady Minnie, Donald Duck the Good Scout, Toby N. Turtle, Sir Santa, The Claus and The Merry Christmas Pig (Worker Pig). The remaining four sheets are each 8.5x11". Two advertise the different sculptured facades which cost upwards of $60 each. The remaining two sheets are illustrated "Suggested Street Scene Window" displays which are titled "Ferdinand's Foolishness/Dopey's Doings." All sheets have lt. age toning but remain totally clean. Exc. First we've seen of any of this promotional material and we have never seen any of the display pieces which are advertised. Exceptional reference material for these incredible display pieces.
