Item Description
7.5x9.5" thin artboard features pen and ink original art by Dennis The Menace creator Hank Ketcham (1920-2001) for April 17, 1975 daily strip featuring Alice Mitchell waiting w/towel in hand to dry her son Dennis, who emerges bare-bottomed from bath, lamenting "'Well.. There Goes Half Of Mr. Wilson's New Garden.'" Ketcham has signed at upper right, adding date below signature. Top right has small hand-lettered Field Newspaper Syndicate copyright written at edge of panel outline. Art remains clean and Exc. Cheeky example of Ketcham's Dennis art.
