Item Description
8.5x11" paper sheets w/copy of art for X-Men #102 (Marvel, Dec. 1976) featuring the New X-Men by Dave Cockrum that are hand-colored as color guides for the published reprint hard cover book. Complete 17 story pages plus cover. Classic Bronze Age New X-Men storyline "Who Will Stop The Juggernaut" by Chris Claremont with art by Dave Cockrum. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. 3 hole punch pages have "Marvel Masterworks X-Men" stamped at top and marked up w/color break notations. Story color guides are original to August 1990 reprint as Marvel Masterworks #12 that reprinted issues #101-110. Slight wrinkling from being colored, lt. aging/handling wear and some tiny edge tears but overall clean. Small pieces of white tape at bottom margin of most with numbering. Cover is also from 1990 Marvel Masterworks edition. Acetate strip taped on cover for type color. Overall all displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
