Item Description
Kit No. 486-98. ©1966 NPP, Inc. First US issue. Box is purple background version w/art of Batmobile, Batman and Robin at slightly different angle from later issue. Open box has lt. aging/wear to corners and edges of lid, also some wrinkling across top edge of lid. Bottom has crease and side has small tear w/aged tape. Lid illustration slightly off center as made. Includes instructions and decal sheet. Decal sheet has slt. insect damage at edge but does not affect decals. Chrome pieces are partially on sprue, no black sprue present. Parts were inventoried and kit appears to be complete. Open box has lt. aging/wear. Exc. Contents are unused and appear NM. A scarce Aurora kit. First issue model kit is much more rare than second issue kit. Greg Roccaro Collection.
