14.5x23" thin art board trio contains original art for issue #74 (April 1949) of Crime Does Not Pay for the story "The 5 Durin Brothers" with pencil and ink art by George Tuska. Lev Gleason Publications. Story about five brothers that engage in various criminal endeavors that lead to their ultimate downfall. Story pages are #2, 5 and 12. Throughout pages you'll see the talking head of the narrator "Mr. Crime". Page two has a missing paste-over that reveals an unprinted panel. Stat of title at top of page 2 but missing from other two pages. Moderate aging/wear on all pages. Three ink spots at top of page 12. Age toning to paper. Slt. curl to top of pages. Overall Golden Age large art pages still display as VG. Classic gangster content. From the archives of artist Jack Keller.
