Item Description
10.5x16" artboard w/pen an ink original art for page 14 of Superman #279, published by DC Comics in Sept. 1974. Art is by comic artist Curt Swan (1920-1996). Frank Giacoia (1924-1988) inks. Story synopsis has Clark Kent (Superman) teaming up w/Barbara Gordon (Batgirl)  and going up against oil smugglers. Art offered here features seven panels, showing Clark Kent changing into Superman and rushing to save a skyscraper that is starting to collapse. Signed by Swan. Some blue pencil editorial notes/marks. Top margin has stamped title w/issue/page number in grease pencil. Back has DC copyright inkstamp. Lt. aging/handling wear.
