Item Description
11" long tin car in red features working friction action and an opening canopy. c. 1950s. The 1955 Lincoln Futura Concept car was one of one made for the show circuit. The actual car was eventually obtained by George Barris and converted into Batmobile #1 for the 1966 TV series. Car has lt. aging/wear. Plated parts have small amounts of aging/oxidation showing. Underside of car has strip of black paint loss down the center from use. Original spring antenna in place. Plastic canopy has a few stress cracks on close inspection. Still a beautiful example of a rare car. Displays VF overall. Includes a modern reproduction box that just comes along and nice for display.
