Item Description
From same issue/story as previous lot. Art is for page 4 and features seven panels, showing Batman springing into action against the oil smugglers in first three panels while Barbara Gordon heads backstage to talk to "Batman," only to see Clark Kent changing out of Batman's uniform. While this is happening, the actual Batman whistles for Superman's help w/the oil tanker, causing Clark to suit up as Superman and fly to his aid in final panel. Superman appears in last two panels (last panel only as Superman), while Batman appears in three panels and Barbara Gordon appears in single panel. Swan has signed second to last panel. Continuation strip stat at bottom right. First panel has line of text replaced, w/replacement strip secured in place w/tape on back. Some blue pencil editorial notes/marks at top/bottom center margins. Top margin has stamped title w/issue/page number in grease pencil. Back has DC copyright inkstamp and inked price. Aged strip of tape at top center margin (w/trace of tape residue at bottom center margin), but o/w art remains clean and Exc.
