27x41" poster for original release of the 1975 Universal Pictures classic features ominous art at center by Roger Kastel showing image of girl swimming w/giant shark rushing up from the depths towards her w/its toothy mouth open. Directed by Steven Spielberg and starring Roy Scheider, Robert Shaw and Richard Dreyfuss, top of poster has "The Terrifying Motion Picture From The Terrifying No. 1 Best Seller" promotional text. Top margin has text "When In Southern California Visit Universal Studios Tour" text. Folded as issued w/creases along fold lines and scattered handling wear. 1/8" margin line puncture at lower left and 1.25" crease at upper right corner. Fine overall.
