Item Description
24x36.75" stiff paper tour blank for The Rolling Stones' 1975 Tour of the Americas, a concert tour originally intended to reach both North and South America. The plans for concerts in Central and South America never solidified, however, and the tour covered only the US and Canada. This was the Rolling Stones' first tour w/new guitarist Ronnie Wood. Poster design by Christian Piper features large eagle, whose wings are those of a jet airplane. Poster has 1.75" edge tear at left by tip of eagle's wing w/archival tape repair on back. Poster has scattered handling wear and some age spotting which blends for the most part. Fine overall.
