Item Description
Dan O'Neill was an early underground comic artist who (along w/a group of fellow cartoonists calling themselves the Air Pirates), famously defied Walt Disney Productions by producing comic books parodying Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other Disney characters engaging in sex and drug use as a form of satire. Disney filed a copyright infringement lawsuit, which saw further sales/reprinting barred. Lot includes - Air Pirates Funnies #2, (Hell Comics/Last Gasp, Aug. 1971).
