Item Description
11.25x17.25 comic art board features pen and ink original page art for Marvel Preview #9 published by Marvel Comics December 1976. Story adapted by Roy Thomas from first half of Philip Wylie's novel Gladiator. Man-God is in the vein of Doc Savage. Offered here is the original art for page 12 featuring seven panels, with some bandits eyeing up the hero Hugo Danner who is signing up to join the French Foreign Legion. Pencil and ink art by Tony DeZuniga. Art is black and white print format for Marvel's magazine line. Blueline notes in margins. Lt. aging/handling wear. Top left corner tip off where tape was removed. Overall clean and Exc.
