Item Description
From 1868 with 7" N. Mint ribbon. Ferrotype is 7/8" dia. with raised inner and outer brass rims. Recessed between the rims is pink accent insert somewhat darkened by age. "Grant" above image is easily readable but under magnification is narrow sliver of emulsion gone and it removed tops of letters "ANT." Ferro still displays VF and ribbon is N. Mint.
