Item Description
1" (25mm) brass shell. DeWitt C-1861-16. Holed at top as made. Obverse has three 1/16" indentations; one on Davis' jacket, w/the other two in the background at 3 and 4 o'clock, respectively. Otherwise light surface wear. Reverse portrait is extremely clean w/only light wear. Overall Fine. Rare. Beauregard was First Brigadier General of the Confederate Army. Bob Westerman Collection.
