Item Description
6.5x10.25" stat paper sheets w/copy of art for X-Men #110 (Marvel, April 1978) featuring the New X-Men by Dave Cockrum that are hand-colored as color guides for the published issue. Complete 17 original story pages. Classic Bronze Age New X-Men storyline "The 'X'-Sanction" by Chris Claremont with art by Tony DeZuniga (Guest Artist) and Dave Cockrum. Color artist was Andy Yanchus. Pages mounted to 8.5x11" copy paper w/"Marvel Masterworks X-Men" stamped at top and marked up w/new color break notations. Story color guides are original to 1978 comic issue and were re-used to reprint as Marvel Masterworks #12 that reprinted issues #101-110. August 1990. Slight wrinkling from being colored, lt. aging/handling wear and some tiny edge tears but overall clean. Pages have cut in panels and corrections as part of the creative process. Cover is from 1990 and was redone for the Marvel Masterworks edition. Overall all displays VF. From The Archives of Colorist Andy Yanchus.
