Item Description
16x21" artboard w/pen and ink original art for May 20, 1956 Sunday page by Beetle Bailey creator Mort Walker (1923-2018). Sunday page features total of 12 panels (counting title stat paste-over, which shows moderate aging/glue staining), w/Beetle Bailey in every panel, entertaining himself (including doing a Sarge impression) before Sarge and the rest of the gang arrive in last panel. Walker has signed and dated last panel. KFS copyright strip at lower left panel. Bottom margin has been inscribed "To Steve Geppi, The Marketing Genius On his 46th Birthday - Mort Walker." Margins have some scattered penciling and printer registration marks and shows some scattered wear w/lt. staining and some margin rippling along bottom. Pin holes at corners. Art however, remains clean and Exc.
