Item Description
17" tall withcloth body and soft vinyl head. Puppet was made for and with the collaboration of Andy Levison. He owned a rare 19" tall Jackie Gleason doll by Ruston from the early 1950s. Overseen by Andy,
a mold of the doll's head was made and then a duplicate head was cast in vinyl for this puppet. It was then professionally hand-painted and a seamstress made a detailed and accurate "costume" for the puppet including a hat. Great detail and a unique item. Mint. Comes with a photo of the original doll. From the Andy Levison Collection.
