Item Description
10.5x16" comic artboard has pencil original art by Sal Buscema and inks by Mike Esposito. Published by Marvel  June 1976. Art is for Marvel Team-Up #46 page 26 from the story "Future Shock: Part II...Am I Now Or Have I Ever Been?" by Bill Mantlo. The story continues with a multi-issue story arc of a time traveling Spider-Man now in the far flung future of 1990. He spots Deathlok and stops him from what appears to be taking a shot at teenagers. The crowd that eventually gathers are a cube wielding band of mutant cannibals known as the Cubists. The storyline concludes w/their defeat and Spider-Man using a Dr. Doom Time-Platform to travel back to his timeline but in Marvel Two-In-One#17 w/The Thing. This three panel page starts w/a mob of Cubists with a nameless costumed leader in the middle raising their empowered cubes in the air in panel two. Panel three features Spider-Man and Deathlok swinging out of a billboard and into the fray. Page has lt. aging/handling wear. Aged tape marks at top and bottom. Marvel ©1976 stamp on back. VF. Great example of some of Sal Buscema's dynamic artwork.
