First is 7.25x10.5". "Harry S. Truman, Independence, Missouri" letterhead dated January 10, 1961. "Dear Professor Gordon, I Am Returning The Inaugural Address, Which You Sent Me, Signed As You Requested. I Hope This Will Meet Your Requirements. Sincerely Yours." followed by 2.5" long signature "Harry S Truman." Center fold from mailing. Next are three 6x9" book pages containing Truman's Jan. 20, 1949 Inaugural Address. Back of third page contains 2.5" inked "Harry Truman" signature. Third is 6.5x9.5" free franked envelope addressed to Gordon L. Thomas of East Lansing, Michigan as mentioned in the letter. Comes w/Hakes COA and JSA LOAs. VF.
