Item Description
13x18.75" sheet of art paper has mixed media original art that was hand-done for elaborate ceiling design in Spanish toy store. Image area measures 8-5/8x16.5" and features total of 34 different highly detailed Disney character portraits, including - Mickey and Minnie Mouse (both shown w/pie-cut eyes), Donald Duck, Clarabelle Cow, Pluto, Horace Horsecollar, Three Little Pigs, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs as well as Pinocchio characters and Joe Carioca, dating this art to the 1940s. Hand-lettered Spanish text at bottom translates to "Decoration Of Lowered Vault In Toy Store." Back has pencil sketch working out store dimensions. Vertical fold at center w/.75" tear just above top left corner of art. Margins show some scattered wear/staining, but art could be matted for VF display. Wonderful and intricate design featuring superb specialty art. A truly unique piece of Disney art.
