22x32.5" linen backed. Printed by Eagle Lithography Company, Chicago. "The Socialist Party/1904/Eugene V. Debs For President/For Vice President Ben Hanford." Superb graphics and color appear on this dramatic poster from the golden age of stone lithography. Farmer and laborer cast their ballots behind oval color portraits. A ballot box appears on column that reads "Workers Of All Countries Unite." Multiple levels of commerce and industry are depicted including glass factory, shoe factory, printers, and foundry. Professional restoration primarily along upper margin and edges. Random scattered touchups are nearly non-detectable. Displays VF. Certainly the most impressive Debs poster and ranking high among the most impressive campaign posters for any candidate of any era.
