Errol McCarthy is an artist/illustrator noted for his work on Peterson Publishing titles Hot Rod Cartoons, CARtoons and Cycletoons as well as for his later work on popular toylines like Hot Wheels and Masters of the Universe. Offered here is 11-5/8x15.75" artboard w/applied sheet of vellum bearing pen and ink original art for one-page story w/"-- And We Don't Have To Tell You What Happened Next!" stat title paste-over at top. From series of similarly-themed cartoons published in 1970s Peterson Publishing title (either Hot Rod Cartoons of CARtoons). Great cartoon image of man reacting in horror as his powerful trike bike speeds towards temporary two-rail bridge, meaning certain doom for him and his two female companions. McCarthy has signed at lower right. .75" piece of masking tape just below center right margin, o/w art remains clean and Exc. Errol McCarthy Collection.
