Item Description
Four 11.5x14.5" Millar Publishing artboards featuring pen and ink original art (w/screentone and blue pencil accents) for complete four-page story originally published in DRAG Cartoons #26 in April 1966 by Pete Millar (1929-2003), illustrator, cartoonist and drag racer known for his work w/CARtoons and DRAG Cartoons magazines. Art is for Batman spoof story Battman With Robbin The Wonder and features caricatures of Batman and Robin based on the 1966 Batman TV show, showing them meeting w/the United Drag Rebels Amalgated group of drag racing personalities over the invasion of Funny Cars. Battman and Robbin head to look into it and end up seemingly getting a parking ticket for parking the Batmobile in a loading zone, w/the resolution being promised in the following month's issue of DRAG Cartoons (see following item). Last artboard has remnants of paper label on back at bottom. First artboard is evenly aged and others shows some lt. margin wear but art remains clean and Exc. overall. Great Batman and Robin content. From the Archives of Publisher Pete Millar.
