Item Description
8.5x11" sheet on unlined paper has pencil preliminary original art for a 1970s Beetle Bailey comic strip. Art is by Beetle Bailey creator Mort Walker (1923-2018) and features two panels, showing Sarge bemoaning his diet to Cookie Jowls. Art is fairly well defined and features hand-lettered word balloons. Art has been inscribed "To John Taylor With Best Wishes - 1975" and signed in pencil by Walker. Staple hole at upper left corner and sheet has some handling wear, but is o/w VF/Exc.
