8-3/8x10-7/8" unlined sheet of paper on the personal letterhead of noted cartoonist and comic book artist Jack Davis (1924-2016) bears brushwork depicting Davis in his distinct cartoon style. His self-portrait has word balloon reading "Mark - Sorry I'm Late Sending This To You!" in black felt tip pen. Davis has signed at lower left in same black wash he used w/portrait. Sheet has lt. even aging and lt. corner tip wear but art remains clean and Exc.
