8x11" hardcover w/dust jacket has 388 pages of mostly b/w reprints w/a few color reprints/pages of classic Batman comic book stories selected from the 1930s through the early 1970s. Published and ©N.P.P. 1971. Art on reprint stories by various Batman artists including Bob Kane, Irv Novick and Neal Adams who is the comic book artist most closely associated w/Batman during the 1970s, and the artist primarily responsible for crafting the character into the edgy, gritty Dark Knight that fans know today. Signed on title page by Neal Adams, Joe Giella and Denny O'Neil in black felt tip pen w/nice large detailed Batman upper body sketch w/holographic authenticity sticker and an additional Neal Adams signature. DJ has clear protector and DJ shows some lt. aging/wear, mostly at corners. Small piece out top back cover. Inner price corner has been clipped. Fine with NM signatures/sketch. Comes with Hake's COA.
