Item Description
11.75x14" vintage paper premium produced by Trinidad Y Hno to commemorate the 1949-50 Cuban baseball championship team, Almendares. Beautiful colorized image depicts 28 ballplayers in full uniform along with a batboy. All individuals are identified by their location in the photo. Some of the key players pictured here are: Rodolfo Fernandez, Francisco Campos, Santos Amaro, Roberto Ortiz, Willy Miranda and Al Gionfrido. Oversize premium has a vertical fold down the center along with a couple of .25" tears along the bottom edge. Back of premium exhibits lt. foxing in spots. Fine. From the Richard Merkin Collection and comes with Hake's COA.
