Item Description
10-5/8x13-1/8" frame contains sheet of art paper w/mixed media original art showing one of Donald Duck's nephews seated on Santa Claus's knee, excitedly reacting to Christmas present. Mid-1980s. Art was used as concept for statue and was created by Daan Jippes, who became art director of the production of Dutch Disney comics and in 1980 came to the US to work for Disney's animation sector. Jippes has signed in blue pencil at lower right of art. Sheet has scattered lt. handling creases and some inked brush strokes at upper left but o/w VF/Exc. and ready for display.
