Item Description
10.5x15-7/8" artboard has pencil original art by Irv Novick that has been inked by Dick Giordano. Art is for page 6 of "Batman"Vol. 1 #252, published by DC Comics Oct. 1973. Page features six panels, showing Alfred arriving in foggy graveyard to dig up Jason Bard (in Batman's costume), who has been buried alive. Last panel has cut out and replaced word of text in word bubble, attached on back w/tape. Top margin has stamped title and inked publication month and issue/page numbers. Bottom right has taped continuation strip. Back has DC Comics copyright inkstamp. Some scattered aging and margins dust soiling. Some aged strips of tape to top/bottom margins. Art remains VF.
