Item Description
10.5x12.5" sheet w/nine pre-printed panels features pencil original art for opening to "Fast Gun Huck" segment from the Nov. 6, 1960 episode of "The Huckleberry Hound Show." Art features Western theme and notes such Western legends as Wild Bill Hickok (w/spelling correction), Billy the Kid and Wyatt Earp, listing Huckleberry Hound alongside them as "The Huckleberry Kid." Huckleberry Hound is seen in bottom three panels, showing him preparing to draw his guns and riding on his horse (who bears the very inventive name Horse). Margins have some scattered editorial notations and each panel has handwritten dialog/narration below. Staple holes at top left, that corner having some creasing. Still VF overall and a great example of storyboard art that bears a very close resemblance to the finished cartoon.
